Who We Are

Therapy Live 2027 is delivered by Physio First and Physio Matters in partnership: one of the UK's leading professional networks for private MSK clinicians, together with one of the profession's most established education, media and events platforms.

  1. Pre-2020

    The Frustration

    Therapy Live began with a simple frustration: therapy conferences were too often light on meaningful education and heavy on gadgets and gimmicks. We knew the MSK professions deserved better. Following the success of The Physio Matters Podcast and #TheBigRs conferences, the Physio Matters team began building the infrastructure for large-scale digital CPD events.

  2. 2020

    Everything Changes

    Then COVID-19 changed everything. Face-to-face events disappeared almost overnight, but the need for high-quality education did not. We hate educational waste. So, at a time when clinicians needed to stay connected, challenged and equipped, Therapy Live was born.

  3. June 2020

    The First Show

    The first event brought together 91 speakers, 74 sessions and 9 education streams for more than 22,000 delegates in one glorious June day. It proved that MSK education could be bigger, more accessible and more ambitious without losing quality.

  4. 2020–2025

    Quality Amongst the Quantity

    Therapy Live continued to help clinicians find quality amongst the quantity: bringing leading voices, sharp debate and applied MSK education to thousands online.

  5. 2027

    The Next Chapter

    Therapy Live becomes a hybrid congress, delivered by Physio First and Physio Matters in partnership. The live room is now the heart of the event, with hundreds of clinicians gathering in person and the main-stage conversation streamed to thousands more online. Still about raising MSK care standards, but this chapter asks us to do it together.
